Dwight Schuh Pack

Dwight Schuh Tree Stand Pack by Fieldline

hunting packI got this pack as a warranty replacement from the Glenwood Canyon Fieldline pack that started wearing out. I was very happy with this pack at first, and used it as a day pack. When not in use I always had it ready to go on a last second hunting trip. I would keep the following items in my pack: CamelBak water bladder, Katadyn water filter, game bag, survival kit, small saw, video camera, game calls, sharpener, rope, flagging tape, shoelace, binoculars, range finder, and knife.

What I liked about the Dwight Schuh pack:

-Multiple pockets, including quick access mesh pouches.
-Lot’s of storage. Dimensions : 21.5in x 16in W x 9.25in D / Metric: 54.6cm H x 40.6cm W x 23.5cm D
-Water Bladder compartment for my CamelBak.
-Comfortable on your back.
-Adjustable chest, shoulder, and waist straps.

After a while I started having zipper problems. What I mean is that the zippers would be closed but then the zipper teeth would pop open. The problem was bearable for a while, but now all my zippers on the bag are broken. The main zipper is always stuck open now and the fabric by the zipper finally tore a bit. I will contact the manufacturer and see how they handle warranty issues as this product has a lifetime warranty. Stay tuned for the update!

Left, you can see the zipper weld has been broken.

Update: The company got back to me immediately and is shipping out the replacement of the original pack I purchased from Fieldline: The Glenwood Canyon Internal Frame Pack. I received the pack very quickly. Although they did not have any more Dwight Schuh packs in stock, they sent me the Glenwood Canyon Internal Frame pack I originally purchased.

Pictured here is the replacement pack I was sent. The updated Glenwood Canyon:
