Bushnell Scout 1000 ARC

Rangefinders have taken a lot of guess work out of a hunter’s head, and with Bushnell’s new Angle Range Compensation technology, Bow hunters have a new edge. Making those tricky tree-stand or steep shots, have always posed problems but now with ARC the guess work is taken out. The rangefinder uses the degree of angle to give you the proper yardage to aim for.

I purchased the Bushnell Scout 1000 with ARC and used it on some recent hunts. The quick and easy one hand use was especially appealing. I have had trouble with other models and the need for two hands because of a hard button. I was very impressed with the ease of use and the size of the unit itself.

Choosing different modes for rifle, bow, scan, brush, or bulls eye was much easier than the other brands I have used. In rifle mode you can find out how much you have to hold over your target when shooting long distances. You can get a range reading at 1000 yards off a reflective target, a 650 yard range off a tree, and a 325 yard range off a deer. The unit comes in at 5×24 power.

The size, weight, ease of use, and economical value of what you get, makes the Bushnell Scout 1000 ARC a very good choice for the economical hunter.
