Primus Express Stove

Primus Express stovePrimus Express Stove

I like this stove although it is not as beloved as my old Brunton Raptor before it met it’s demise. Overall it is a good unit that performs when needed. It is reliable, light and fairly compact. Just like any similar design of backpack stove, If it is windy you will need to protect the flame so it does not get blown out. The only things I don’t like about are: The prongs that hold the pot can bend, and it does not fold up as compact as the Brunton Raptor. However, it does produce a good consistent flame.

Positives:
-Light
-Fairly compact
-Relaible.

Negatives:
-I don’t like how it folds/collapses.
-Prongs can bend.
